British born with Ghanaian and Jamaican heritage; Alliz certainly represents a new generation of classically trained musicians. Her playing reflects her versatility of cultural tastes and love of the exotic. Communicating a wealth of styles with illumination, she offers a captivating journey through early to contemporary music.
Alliz achieved a BMus Honours in Viola performance from the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester, UK. Her studies were kindly supported by Gerald Finzi Trust, Craxton Memorial Trust, Leverhulme Scholarship Trust, Michael Simms Memorial Trust, Myra Hess Award, Musicians Benevolent Fund and The Vegetarian Charity.
Excited about the future, she has accepted a European Scholarship to attend the Professional Artist Performance Diploma at Berklee College of Music, Boston, USA.
